Leigh Meunier and Renee Scott from Green & Open Somerville will talk about the many benefits of de-paving your driveway or yard and how you can get involved with de-paving efforts in Somerville.

Marja Copeland, MyRWA Project Manager, will present on tree trenches — an innovative green infrastructure technique that can filter and store stormwater runoff, water the tree, and recharge groundwater. These tree trenches will be piloted in the cities of Everett, Chelsea, and Melrose in the coming year.
