Canoe Mobile is Coming to Boston!

The Mystic River Watershed Association in coordination with the US Forest Service and Wilderness Inquiry as part of the Urban Waters Federal partnership is bringing the Canoemobile Program to Boston this October (10/5 to 10/8)!

Canoemobile is a “floating classroom” that brings students out on local waterways in 10-person, 24-foot Voyageur canoes to learn about science, history, geography, and culture. The program will have both on water as well as on land content. 

The centerpiece of the Canoemobile program is the integrated classroom and outdoor education experience that utilizes under-appreciated urban resources, especially urban waterways. Canoemobile programming and educational activities operate in collaboration with local, state, and federal partners. This year we will be hosting the events in three locations:
